Terms and Conditions (NRA First Steps with MD HQL)

 

Terms and Conditions

Thank you for registering for the NRA Basic Pistol Course with MD HQL. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully:

Registration

• Registration for the course is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• All participants must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to possess a firearm in the state of Maryland.
• Registrants must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of legal residency in Maryland.

Payment

• Payment for the course must be made in full no later than 48 hrs prior to the start of class.
• Refunds will issued on a case by case basis. 

Attendance

• All participants must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time to allow time to complete necessary paperwork.
• Class will start promptly at start time.
• Participants who arrive late may be asked to reschedule for a future course date.

Liability

• All participants must sign a liability waiver before participating in any live-fire exercises.
• Participants are responsible for their own safety equipment, including eye and ear protection,unless discussed prior to class. 

Certification

• Participants must successfully complete all course requirements to receive certification.
• Participants who do not meet the minimum proficiency standards may be required to retake the course at an additional cost.
